Radnor Township School District welcomes new leadership, new director

The Radnor Township School District (RTSD) is pleased to announce the election of Liz Duffy as President of the RTSD School Board and Susan Stern as Vice President during the Board Reorganization meeting on Dec. 2, 2025. The Board also welcomed Thomas (Tom) Le as its newest director, filling the seat previously held by Dr. Andrew Babson, who did not seek re-election.

Liz Duffy, elected Board President, is entering her seventh year of service on the Board. A Radnor resident for more than 20 years, Duffy is the parent of four children, including three Radnor High School graduates and a current senior. Before becoming an active school and community volunteer, Duffy spent 15 years in marketing and advertising in Manhattan and Philadelphia, working across consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and financial services.

She volunteers with Radnor Residents for Gun Safety, Radnor ABC House, and the Radnor Educational Foundation. Duffy is a Boston College graduate with a BA in Economics.

Susan Stern, elected Board Vice President, is beginning her thirteenth year on the Board. Stern has contributed to the community through a wide range of volunteer roles, including eight years on the Township Planning Commission and service as a founding Board Member and Treasurer of the Skunk Hollow Community Garden. She also serves as Treasurer on the Board of The Women’s Sacred Music Project. Stern previously served as Board President from 2019–2021 and Vice President in 2018 and has held roles on several key committees. She is a registered nurse, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and a self-employed professional living in Wayne.

Tom Le joins the Board for his first term. A longtime Radnor volunteer, Le has served on several district committees, including Student Sleep & Healthy Schedules, Health, PE & Aquatics, and Homework Study. He coached the Radnor Middle School MATHCOUNTS team to a State Championship win in 2019 and later led the Pennsylvania team at Nationals. Le is an active volunteer in numerous nonprofit and community organizations and is a graduate of the Radnor Township Citizens Policy Academy. A credentialed actuary (FCAS), Le works for a Fortune 500 mutual insurer and holds a BSE in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Julia, have lived in Radnor for more than 21 years and are parents of two Radnor graduates.

RTSD looks forward to the leadership and perspective that President Duffy, Vice President Stern, and Director Le will bring to the Board.
