Haverford’s new superintendent offers ‘meet-and-greets’

The new year brings new opportunities for parents and other community members who want to have the ear of the new Haverford Township School District superintendent.

Dr. Matthew Hayes will be present at three upcoming “meet-and-greets” in which those in attendance can share their ideas, ask questions and engage in conversation. The first gathering was held at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 7 at Lynnewood Elementary School.

The next meet-and-greet will be at 10 a.m. on Feb. 19 at Kelly Music Center in Havertown, and Hayes will also be available at a 10 a.m. gathering on March 25 at the Haverford Public Library.

Hayes started in his new role on July 1, 2025, on a five-year contract.
