Harriton High welcomes the public to its winter concert tomorrow night

The sounds of the holiday season are something you crave year-round. They’re songs filled with memories and warmth. And who couldn’t use some of that during this chilly wintery weather?

The Harriton High School Music Department has just the remedy. The public is invited to attend its Choirs and Jazz Ensemble 2025 Winter Concert. Featuring a wide variety of “outstanding performances,” the Lower Merion School District said the show is not to be missed.

“Celebrate the season with an evening of exceptional music showcasing the talent and dedication of our student musicians,” said a recent release from the district. The Choirs and Jazz Ensemble will take the stage at the Harriton Auditorium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18.

The concert is free and open to all ages of the public. The Rams look forward to sharing the sounds of the season with you!

According to the high school’s website, students at Harriton have an option to participate in a number of ensembles including Chorus, Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, and Orchestra. In addition to the large ensembles, students also have the opportunity to perform in smaller chamber groups including Brass Ensemble, Chorale, String Quartet, and Woodwind Quintet if they so choose.

“Our ensembles have received excellent and superior ratings at adjudicated festivals,” said the high school’s website. “In addition, our students are regularly chosen for participation in PMEA District, Region, and All-State Festivals.”
