Calling all cheerleaders, age 6 to 14: LMHS is ready for Y-O-U

Gimme a Y! Gimme a O! Gimme a U! What’s that spell. Y-O-U! You, you, you! Yeah!

If you have a mini cheerleader in your home, you may want to inform them a big opportunity is on its way this January.

The Lower Merion High School cheer team is hosting a cheerleading stunt clinic for students aged six to 14 on on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026. The clinc’s heck-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the clinic will run from 9 to 11 a.m.

Participants will receive instruction from the high school’s cheer team members and coaches. The cost is $25 per child and participants should register online here

Participants can also add a cheerleading bow for purchase at a cost of $5. The team is also taking pre-orders for their T-shirts for Nationals. You can learn more about the team’s qualifying for nationals on the district’s website here

Payment must be made within seven days of sign-up to complete registration. A confirmation of completed registration will be emailed after payment is received.

If a child is interested in participating, but the registration cost causes undue hardship, please reach out to Head Coach Jalyne Poles at [email protected] for information about financial aid.
