Gina Lizzo wins Delco Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year
It is wonderful to be recognized for your hard work and dedication. It is all the more impressive when you’ve accomplished so much at a young age.
The Delaware County Chamber of Commerce recently announced the winner of this year’s EPIC Awards, including the Young Professional of the Year. Gina Lizzo was the winner of the honor this year, and the chamber congratulated her with both the distinction and a trophy at a recent presentation.
The Chamber’s leaders said that Lizzo’s work earned her the honor, as it was a “tribute to her outstanding leadership, storytelling talent, and commitment to lifting up the voices of others throughout our region,” said a social media post by the Chamber.
Lizzo is the managing editor of Main Line Today and The Hunt magazines, and is the youngest person to hold this role in the history of both publications.
“Her work reflects a deep passion for elevating community voices, especially women, by sharing stories that inspire, connect, and shine a light on the individuals shaping our region,” said the Chamber’s post. “Beyond the newsroom, Gina remains deeply engaged in community service.”
According to the Chamber, Lizzo serves on the committee for Women Golfers Give Back while she also sits on the board of the nonprofit Nova and Nadia’s Closet, “continuing her mission to support and empower those around her.”
“I’m beyond honored to be recognized by the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce as the Young Professional of the Year,” said Lizzo at the presentation. “This community is full of talented, driven professionals, and to be acknowledged among them means so much to me.”
